Echelon is located in the Eastgate area just minutes from I-275. Echelon was the first apartment community PLK ever built, previously all the properties within the PLK portfolio were acquired properties. PLK built this 187-unit property in 2018 and the homes are a mix of both 1 and 2 bedrooms. Echelon’s amenities include a fully equipped resident lounge and coffee bar, cardio studio, parcel pending room for both mail and packages, elevators, a saltwater pool, grilling cabanas, bonfire pit, dog park, and valet trash. Echelon is tucked just behind Jungle Jim’s International Market, within walking distance to Walmart, nail salons, and restaurants making everything you need only a short drive away.
Meet the Team
In the office you’ll find Amber Morris, Property Manager of Echelon, who has been with PLK for almost 5 years. Suzi Redding is thriving as one of PLK’s newest leasing consultants and has been with PLK for just over 2 months. The maintenance team is a fantastic 3-man crew, we have Ryan Renner who is the maintenance lead at Echelon and has been with PLK for almost 3 years, and our maintenance technicians, Donny Trimble and Tom Kidwell, who both joined PLK in the last 3-4 months.
Echelon Fun Facts
Located directly behind Echelon Apartments is one of PLK’s newest communities, Gentry East. You can walk from property to property, and they share one pet park. The same team manages Echelon and Gentry East, and they split their time between both properties helping both sites’ residents. So, when we say this property has 187 apartments, the team really has 283 homes they take care of and manage!
Another fun fact about Echelon is the style in which it’s built - it’s a rectangle. Echelon is our only property that was created as a rectangle, with the pool located in the middle. Echelon has 4 -floors and two elevators, one at each end. Some people like to say it feels like a hotel because of the longer, enclosed hallways, you definitely feel like you’re living at a resort.
